2010 SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
To further its mission of supporting and promoting theater in the community, The Carnegie Players award a scholarship to assist a local gradeuating senior or a current college student to supplement his or her college tuition.
The Carnegie Players' scholarship is awarded to a student who is a resident of the Rensselaer Central Schools district,whether that student attends public school, private school, Christian school,or is home-schooled. The scholarship is also available to a current full time College student who was previously a resident of the Rensselaer Schools district.
The Scholarshipis awarded annuallyto a student pursuing studies in Performing Arts or Theater Arts at the College level and must have participated in theater in schoolor community organizations. Preference is given to applicants whohave been active with The Carnegie Players.
